About the GSE&IS Alumni Network

The GSE&IS Alumni Network is made up of graduates from our world renowned programs in the Department of Education, Department of Information Studies, the Teacher Education Program, and the Principal Leadership Institute.

Our alumni carry on UCLA’s tradition of striving for excellence, thinking out of the box, and transforming people’s lives. They have gone on to become educators, information professionals, policy makers, and institutional leaders at schools, corporations, universities, libraries, museums, archives, and other organizations. These include the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Walt Disney Company, the Huntington Library & Gardens, eBay, Los Angeles Unified School District, Santa Monica Public Library, and many more.

If you are an alum, welcome back. You are part of a community of more than 16,000 strong. From lectures and networking events to alumni resources and news, the GSE&IS Alumni Network is your total resource for staying connected with your program and school. We invite you to explore the site, tell us how you’re doing, and get involved!

About Bruin Memories

Looking ahead to UCLA’s Centennial Celebration in 2019, the Graduate School of Education & Information Studies has launched the Bruin Memories Project. Designed to champion our graduates and to preserve our rich and diverse history, the Bruin Memories Project is a collection of oral histories from UCLA Education, Library Science, and Information Studies alumni, who have agreed to share their memories of UCLA.

To learn more or to share your own UCLA memories, please contact Leigh Leveen in the Office of External Relations at lleveen@support.ucla.edu or 310-206-0375.
